She joined North Country Behavioral Medicine after working as a School-Based Clinician for BHSN School-Based Mental Health, where she delivered essential counseling services to students ranging from kindergarten through college across Clinton County Schools. Megan's robust mental health background includes five years serving as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW 2) for the New York State Office of Mental Health at Clinton Correctional Facility, where she specialized in treating severely mentally ill and special needs inmates. She has also provided outpatient care for co-occurring disorders at Northstar Behavioral Services and handled investigations as a social worker for the Department of Children and Families. Megan is certified and trained in evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and EMDR.
