Biography

Daniel Portice is a Board-Certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) who specializes in providing compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care and medication management across the lifespan. He brings robust clinical experience within both inpatient and outpatient psychiatric frameworks, practicing under a dedicated servant-leadership and trauma-informed care model.

Before transitioning into an advanced practice role, Daniel accumulated extensive experience as a psychiatric registered nurse. He served as a Psychiatric Nurse for the Community Health Centers federally qualified healthcare network, where he delivered intensive case management, patient education, and medically assisted treatment (MAT) coordination. His background also features stabilization of acute crisis and psychiatric conditions as a Staff Nurse II in the inpatient psychiatry unit at the University of Vermont Medical Center, and community-rehabilitation intervention as a Registered Nurse at Yahara House psychiatric clubhouse in Madison, Wisconsin. Daniel is certified in multiple crisis de-escalation frameworks—including Professional Assault Crisis Training (Pro-ACT) and Managing of Aggressive Behaviors (MOAB)—and is an active Compassion Resilience Facilitator. He utilizes an integrated, patient-centered approach to foster safety, long-term resilience, and holistic recovery for individuals and families.
