Jeffrey DeLaMater, PA-C
Physician Assistant

Jeffrey T. DeLaMater PA-C, is a dedicated and compassionate physician assistant providing outpatient psychiatric care at North Country Behavioral Medicine since 2022. With deep roots in the North Country since 1997, he is committed to serving the mental health needs of individuals and families in the region. 

Mr. DeLaMater brings extensive clinical experience to the practice. He worked for five years with developmentally disabled adults at Clinton County ARC prior to attending PA school. Following graduation, he spent seven years in primary care, gaining broad experience in the assessment and management of acute and chronic medical conditions. This diverse background has provided a strong foundation for delivering comprehensive, patient-centered psychiatric care. 

Mr. DeLaMater completed undergraduate and pre-med studies at SUNY Plattsburgh and earned a master's degree from the Albany Medical College Physician Assistant Program in 2014. He is licensed in New York State and maintains national certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C). 

Outside of work, Mr. DeLaMater is married and the proud father of four children. He enjoys spending time with family, remains active in their church, and values continuous learning across a variety of subjects.
