Archil Chechelashvili, MD
Child and Adolescent Psychiatry

With over 40 years of medical experience (including nearly two decades practicing in the United States), Dr. Chechelashvili graduated from the Tbilisi State Medical Institute in 1985 and completed his psychiatry residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Before coming to Plattsburgh, he managed a massive roster of pediatric patients as the sole child psychiatrist at a Mississippi county mental health clinic. 

Board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and affiliated with CVPH Medical Center, he treats a wide array of psychiatric disorders in both adults and children. He has advanced TMS training from the University of Toronto.

Dr. Chechelashvili is fluent in English, Russian, and Georgian.
