Founder

Dr. Santoro founded North Country Behavioral Medicine in 2017 after previously serving as the Medical Director of the Department of Psychiatry at Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital (CVPH) Medical Center.

Education

He earned his medical degree from the University of Manitoba in 2002 and is dual-board-certified in psychiatry by both the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.

Experience

A former Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Vermont, Dr. Santoro has advanced training in Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) from Harvard Medical School and Duke University. He specializes in major depression, ADHD, PTSD, and bipolar disorder.

Languages

Dr. Santoro speaks English, Spanish, and conversational Italian.
